I trespassed along a beautiful stretch of the River Dart near Ashburton in Devon. It is at the bottom of old track (which is a public bridleway) which in the past was used by miners to reach the wonderfully named Queen of the Dart mine. When you get to the end of the track, there is about 5 metres of accessible river bank for you to enjoy. At the side, is a path along the river which it is private.

This is the gate to the path along the river. Fortunately it is not locked.

Beautiful, mixed woodland greets you as you start along the path.

The stunning River Dart.

Handsome mushrooms. Either Scarletina Boletes or Lurid Boletes. Either way, pretty impressive.
