I trespassed beside Llangorse Lake. Llangorse lake is the largest natural lake in the ‘National Park’.Swimming is banned, only some 300m of its shores are publicly accessible, and paddlers must pay £137 yearly for a permit.

One of hundreds of signs paid for by taxpayer money.
, all stating the same nonsense.Why should our National Parks be closed to the public, let alone controlled and owned by private landowners?

An ancient oak tree beside the lake, surveyed to be over 500 years old. Unsurprisingly, on private land which in fact makes up at least 60% of the ‘National’ Park.

Beautiful alder woodland beside the lake, but private property…
